What is The Porter (1976) about?
The porter Yusuf, whose only dream is to buy a car, is trying to finish primary school and get a driver's license. He deposits the money he earns from portering into the bank and finally saves enough money for a car. He goes to the bank with his daughter to get his account. At that moment, the bank is robbed, the robbers who take Yusuf's money from him kidnap his daughter, rape and torture her. The porter Yusuf, who carries the weight of the world on his back, will not let the robbers get away with what they did.
