Love Thy Neighbor: Season 2 (2015)

A patron at the Love Train Diner looks suspiciously familiar to Floyd. Upon further investigation, he discovers that the woman is Sarah, Philip's girlfriend. This revelation sends Hattie and Danny into a tizzy because Linda is expecting Philip's baby. Finally, after Philip cancels dinner plans with Linda, Danny decides to tell her about Philip's girlfriend.

Hattie and Floyd believe that Philip deserves to know that Linda is pregnant. Unfortunately, Linda's hormones are raging, and she doesn't want anything to do with Philip. Linda finally relents, though, and agrees to tell Philip about the baby. She goes to his house only to discover that he has moved on. When Linda returns home to Hattie and tells her how harshly Philip treated her, Hattie calls in reinforcements to handle the situation. Get ready for Madea!

Hattie doesn't think Philip is taking responsibility for his unborn child with Linda, and the Love family matriarch feels like it's a fight that she doesn't want to handle alone. She calls in the "B.I.G." (big intense granny), Madea, to help resolve the issue.

Madea and Hattie force their way into Philip's house and threaten him with bodily harm for impregnating Linda and then treating her badly. To their surprise, Philip is unaware that Linda was pregnant. Later, Philip confronts Linda. He is excited about the coming baby and admits he is still in love with her.

Linda doesn't want Philip to be with her just because she is carrying his child, and she encourages him to see other people. Although they love each other, both Linda and Philip have had their hearts broken and are afraid to let their guards down. Enter Hattie, who shares with Philip a special letter that Linda wrote when she was just a little girl. In it, he discovers that he is exactly what Linda has always wanted.

Philip tells Danny that he wants to formally ask for Linda's hand. Danny likes the idea and talks to his mother about marrying Philip, but Linda admits that she isn't sure whether she wants that. Philip then confides in Hattie about his intentions, and she gives him her blessing.

Linda's son Danny tries to plan his mom a surprise baby shower.

Linda seeks help from Ella Payne to plan her reception; Curtis wants Floyd to pay him back for his investment.

Drew reveals her love for Danny.
